United Airlines partners with SpaceX to provide complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi powered by Starlink tech

United Airlines announced on Friday that they will be offering free inflight Wi-Fi from SpaceX’s Starlink on their fleet of jetliners. This partnership marks a significant move in the airline industry towards providing faster and more reliable inflight internet for passengers. Delta Air Lines and Hawaiian Airlines have also implemented similar initiatives to offer free Wi-Fi to their customers. SpaceX’s Starlink network has been rapidly expanding since its launch in 2020, currently serving over 3 million customers in 100 countries with about 6,000 satellites in orbit. JetBlue Airways and semi-private airline JSX have also benefited from SpaceX’s inflight Wi-Fi services.
