Top premarket stock movers: AAPL, ORCL, BOOT, AVO



Avocado producer Mission Produce saw a 21.6% surge in premarket trading after reporting a 24% jump in revenue for the fiscal third quarter. Rival Calavo Growers also experienced a 6.5% increase after beating analyst estimates. Oracle’s cloud infrastructure platform rallied 8% after exceeding expectations in its fiscal first quarter. Boot Barn’s shares rose 6% following positive performance updates. However, Apple’s shares slipped nearly 1% due to a ruling from the European Union requiring them to pay $13 billion in back taxes. Hewlett Packard Enterprise saw a more than 5% drop in shares on plans to sell convertible preferred stock. Despite topping Wall Street’s estimates, Rubrik’s stock dropped nearly 7%. Oil and gas services provider Patterson-UTI Energy climbed more than 7% after a successful August. Alibaba’s U.S.-traded shares rose more than 2% after being added to stock connect programs. Johnson Controls International saw a nearly 2% increase after a stock upgrade. Anheuser-Busch InBev SA added 1.7% after being named a top pick among global brewers. Lastly, Equity Residential rose 1.3% following an upgrade to overweight status.
