  1. Westerners don't realize that China doesn't need foreign direct investments anymore. It has so much excess capital that China can invest in itself and to the Global South through the BRI. China now prefers that the money made by foreign firms from China, stays in China, in Chinese hands.

  2. Overcapacity is the new code word for “lost competition”. China is now becoming the leading technology exporters which why European automakers are losing market share in China and elsewhere. These companies are bluffing. They won’t be going anywhere. Investment will keep flowing to China for two reasons: skilled labor and big market. Having said this: can someone tell me what exactly these European companies expect China to be transparent about?

  3. See the Chinese bots are out. I have nothing against Chinese people; the issue is the transparency with the CCP and doing business on a level playing field. We know statistics coming out of China are manipulated and not correct.

  4. Why would any business invest in a communist military dictatorship that are constantly threatening the West with war and pose a national security threat to the free world – particularly after business have lost billions on their Russian investments?

  5. Typhoon Yagi has severely devastated Vietnam. I hope the United Nations, the United States, the EU, Japan, the UK, Australia and the international community will quickly support the Vietnamese people.🇻🇳❤️🇺🇳🇺🇸🇪🇺🇯🇵🇬🇧🇦🇺. After Typhoon Yagi, the CCP released water from hydroelectric dams at full capacity, causing severe flooding in Vietnam. I hope the International Court and the UN will punish the CCP.🇺🇳

  6. Just leave winnie already. You'll be fine Germany. Do business with likeminded people. They just copy/steal your technology anyway. Once they "learned" your secrets…you're OUT!

  7. Chinese ae having a hard time right now. This is a fact. Even my upper middle class relatives in Shanghai are complaining about the economy being bad. Asking me to keep help keep my nephew and cousin overseas because so many people can't find jobs, or laid off or pay reduced. This is largely the central government's fault, antagonizing the west and fanning nationalism before the economy is sufficiently developed.

  8. Also, xi has said many times that he is preparing for war. One would assume that the CCP will nationalise foreign property if they stand up to the aggression. We shall see.
