Getting close to a recession? I make $2400 a month and can't afford both rent and groceries on my own
my favourite wasian youtuber
Of course fast food is seeing less customers, what was recently $12 is now like $26
A can of spam is now $7 which is ridiculous to think that it used to be around $3
We've been in a recession for like 2 years ๐
It's perhaps less a sign of recession than it is about the "trickle down" crime syndicate rigging the "housing market" to artificially keep costs and rents in the Stratosphere. So who is really creating the extra artificial "inflation" that has been ongoing even way before 2020?
Ppl think kamala has a good chance of winning the election. Hence the reason ppl are preparing for a recession
Itโs also football season, and people are probably buying sausages and hotdogs to throw on the grill.
Mcdonalds use to be a crappy fast food for a low price, but now it's crappy fast food quality for a premium price
Thing about recessions is that you don't realize you were in one until you're out of it. It's like putting up with a terrible job for months. Then, when you finally get a better job, you look back and realize just how terrible it actually was now that you are better off.
Just ask the strippers if there are less people going to a strip club, therefore itโs the start of a recession
maybe I'm stupid but I hope we're heading for a recession
This guy looks like Chakotay from star trek voyager
Meanwhile in Costco … it is still $1.5
What a pain in the ass
It's not an indication of recession, but a result of inflation brought to us by greedy corporations.
Bet they still drive oversized gas guzzling cars and trucks they most likely can't afford.
If thing donโt change obviously itโs not going to get better. So if the vp becoming to president is the same nothing changes then I could assume ya itโll be bad
Maybe people are just tired of burnt coffee and hockey puck burgers for $10
Check with the strippers. There's a thing called the stripper index. ๐๐๐ its real. Look it up.
I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever. I'm a single mother living in Melbourne Australia, bought my second house in August and hoping to retire next year at 43 if things keep going smoothly for me.
Could also be everyone is poorer
Or not.
When younger I looked at the price of a 16oz can of malt liquor as the price on inflation. From 90 cents, to $1.10, $1.25, $1.50, etc per year or half a year.
You are in denial.
Closer? Bro I canโt afford to live off my full time job
Make Sausages Great Again!
Never thought I'd see the day chepass mcdonalds is branded with expensive ass starbucks
U da goat, Humph
Starbucks and McDonald's have been hit by boycott for supporting the Genocide in Gaza.
Literally yesterday I decided to put back a $26 package of beef cubes for a $10 pack of sausages.
Grills and girls, nice word play there Humphrey.
I think stripper clubs would be recession resistant. Boom or bust, people go there to celebrate or escape. LOL.
That wouldnโt work with me. I rather eat grass than a hotdog.
We are due for a recession based on historical data, but who really knows what will happen.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duckโฆitโs a duck. Recession deniers are worse than flat earthers.
๐๐
Big Macs and strip clubs; what a combo.
What if I simply really like to grill them?
My opinion, the U.S economy is so large and complex there no one answer anymore. It can be a fast food industry recession but not in the car industry. During the 2008 market crash recession my father was steady same income month to month in the plumbing industry to this day thank God.
Could also impact the boot theory. Have to watch out for it.
Strip club demand ๐๐๐๐
Could also be itโs been a very hot summer and most folks are cooking outside
No mention of the tens of thousands of restaurants that are closed.
Humphrey Yang, wanna collab bro
What other circumstances, for example?
